Finally, Finally!

P*tang *na!!!!!

SALAMAT AT NATAPOS NA!!! *kneels and raises arms up relief and joy*

What a horrible enrollment experience. It's all about luck, I tell ya... luck and stupidity. Yech. Here are the highlights:

-stupidity: It's CRS's stupidity. I didn't get the only math 53 and physics 71 schedules that would fit my sched. demmit. Damn them!

- luck: went to arki on wednesday to go to a meeting... and realized that it was advising day (if you don't go on the first day, you're automatically on the late registration list)! A friend told me earlier that it was on thursday... I believed him and I wouldn't have gone if I didn't have that meeting. Phew.

- stupidity: enlistment for non-tricoll on friday. Woke up extra early to get math and physics. Drove crazily fast to UP only to realize upon arriving that I forgot my freaking enlistment form!!! WTF?? Wasted both precious time and gas to go back and get it.

- luck: got back just in time to manually enlist for math 53. Experienced the ID RAFFLE... the prof can only accept one student and there were a LOT of us. So we gave her our IDs and after shuffling it a bit, she picked one lucky bastard - ME!!!! I was the lucky bastard!!!

- stupidity: forgot to cancel the physics lab on the same time slot and was therefore not given the slot. ME - STUPID lucky bastard. I almost tore all my hair out right there and then. Gave away my slot to a friend and proceeded to try and salvage Physics at the very least. NADA.

- luck: some friends gave me a tip for a sure way of getting a slot in physics.. the prerog letter. This saved my life!!!

- stupidity: basically ran around the campus to try to get petitions or all sorts of solutions to get math 53. I looked and felt like an idiot. I absolutely did not know what to do! Went home utterly defeated.

- luck: on monday, went early to try and get math 53, if ever anyone should cancel their slot. Waited patiently for an hour and a half and just when I decided to go, the prof decided to add two extra slots to the list... OMG! I'm SO IN!!! HA!

- luck: went to physics and my prerog letter was accepted! OMG! So happy... got my desired physics lab and lec scheds. :3 Prerog letter rules!

- luck: the rest was a breeze. fill up form, sign here and there, assessment, line up for another hour for payment and voila! I was FINALLY, FINALLY enrolled! Greatest relief of my life. *sigh*

---------

ah... the story of my so-called life in UP Diliman. :3

Now to pass...

Workaholic

I'm beginning to think that I'm a workaholic.

This sem, I have 18 units (supposed to be 21 but I took a ge this summer), an org, and a "work" thing. Sort of. I don't know what's gotten into me. The funny thing is, I'm a professional procrastinator. Work + procrastination = does not bode well. Maybe I've gone mad or something.

Then again, 'tis a possibility that I'm doing this to fill up my mind to a point that I won't be able to think of other bothersome stuff. *sigh* Yep, this is the most likely situation.

For some odd reason, I'm easily annoyed these days. When I get annoyed, I also get angry. When I get angry... my head spins. Soon after that, my mind goes blank and when consciousness comes back, I find myself facing a most unfortunate situation.

Unfortunate situations are bad. Evil incarnate. I regret every unfortunate situation that I've created out of anger. No repititions please.

So far, I'm doing fine. But I'm walking on a very thin line here...

That's why it's so much better to be stressed out than to feel. Haha! Robot. Hmmm.

----------------------

And hereth begineth another year, another semester.

And hereth begineth another series of plates, math, and orgstuff.

Looking forward to it. @_@

Sportsfest!

Wah! My muscles (if one can call them that) hurt! Sportsfest kahapon with the freshies... in Leni's words, "Ang Happy!". Nyehehe... nakakatuwa.  More than 10 freshies came!! And to think only 4 of us went last year. Happy....

First off, went to Vinzon's to meet up with block A2 and some of the members. It was supposed to be 7:30 but heck, Filipino time as usual and I am one of the guilty ones so I can't really complain. :D Basically left at around 8:30... onwards to Park 9!

Had a few kinks smoothened out because there were some people playing volleyball when we arrived. We were able to talk to the person in charge and convince them to let us stay 'till 11. Hmph. Right...

And so the games began!

We separated into 2 teams (the Winners and Losers- haha!) and started with the first game:

Catch the Dragon's Tail - two lines, head of the first team must catch the tail of the second team and vice versa for points. If  the line breaks, points for the other team. Sounds simple? HA! Team Losers won. Bleh. (of course, team Winners ako!)

Agawan Base (?) - Twisted version of American football with not much rules and a plastic canister for a ball. Hehe! Team Winners won! I didn't even break a sweat! (harhar... siyempre the boys did all the work)

Everyone took a break and Sudar, Agnes and I went to Rustan's to buy water and snacks for everyone. When we came back, they weren't playing. Turns out that the people who were going to use the court at 10 were already there. Basketball people. HMPH. Foom and Saku were negotiating while we were buying the snacks. Bleh. We decided not to waste time and went ahead with the main event...

Pingpong Soccer! - soccer rules with a pingpong ball. Instead of using feet, one must blow the ball to make it roll. Such FUN! The laway, scraped knees, and literally swimming on cement... there's nothing like it! :D Team Losers won though. *sigh*

We were supposed to have one more game but the next occupants (some UP people... I think they were from econ. Mark, from Lex's bday was there) took over. *insert curse word* Instead of more futile efforts to coax them to let us finish the event, we decided to eat lunch in Sara's. Most of the freshies went with us. Bonding moment! They're a pretty cool bunch, and some already promised to apply. Yey!

Of course, since the org is AF and the venue is in Sara's, teasing and beer-drinking were the main occupation. And I've made myself the target of that afternoon's teasing. Harrumph!

Hey, does saying (off-handedly) that a freshie is cute warrants a more than subtle attack of "UYYY'S" and "YIHEEE's" every minute?! It's not as if it's such a big thing... so cute siya. What's the big deal? It's not as if I'm gonna do anything about it. (This is irritatingly amusing. Really.)

AH well. Will not think much about that.

So the day ended; I was picked up at mcdo and I slept the rest of the day away upon arriving at home.
